Stevie is an actor and Voiceover artist working and living in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
“He can be serious, silly, smooth, surreal - and superbly Scottish”
Stevie arrived relatively late to the acting profession in 2008 having first completed a 32 year career as a Firefighter.
On retiral from the Scottish Fire Service, he decided to pursue a long held desire to become an actor and undertook training, commencing with the long established and well loved Citizens theatre in Glasgow. Following this, he signed up for further tuition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and most recently, returned to the Citizens theatre to participate in an intensive acting course with Dominic Hill, Artistic director of the Citizens theatre and five times CATS (Critics Award for Theatre in Scotland) winner of the “Best Director” award.
Stevie has now gained experience as an actor in theatre, television, short films and commercials in both the dramatic and comedic genres.
Some examples of his past work can be viewed on the ‘Watch’ page on this site.
He is also a voice over (VO) artist who has worked with experienced actors from both sides of the Atlantic.
Stevie trained at Voiceover Training Scotland (VOTS) under the tutelage of both Donald Pirie, one of the most significant voice over artists in Scotland, as well as Borja Alcalde, a Deutsche Bank award winning sound engineer.
